Who is Brian
Brian Ciano has been working in the media industry ever since first discovering his love for it in high school. Starting at WSHR, as it turned from a high school radio station just playing automated jazz to a 60,000 watt learning experience where students created and hosted shows that rang out all over Long Island, NY.
He continued that passion at Marconi Award winning WSOU, where he went from engineer, to newscaster, to DJ, to sportscaster and sports host and Sports Director for the station.
While finishing his college career, Brian, interned with Scott Ferrall at SiriusXM on “The Ferrall Show” on Howard 101 where he became part of the show. After a brief time working for the sports department at SiriusXM in various roles, he became associate producer and an on-air contributor to Ferrall’s show again.
When the show moved to CBS Sports Radio as “Ferrall on the Bench” in 2012, Brian became executive producer and a leader for the program and network in bookings and producing on-air content.
He continued on as producer of “Ferrall Coast to Coast” at SportsGrid when the show moved to TV as well as weekend hosting on “In-Game Live” before starting his own weekly fight coverage show “Bareknuckle’s Main Event” which was eventually rebranded as the “Combat Sports Report”.
In 2025 he became the founder of BC Media and started his own weekly combat sports podcast that he hosts/produces/edits/manages called “Fighting Lines with Brian Ciano”.
